Matt’s Story
Matt comes from a diverse background within the fashion and gift industry. His mother, Marilyn, and Father, David, both started from humble beginnings. Selling jewelry at local swap meats, art shows, and festivals. In time both their businesses grew, Marylin went on to open up eight retail stores in Southern California and David went on to become one of the largest wholesale fashion eyewear distributors in the USA. Matt attended his 1st tradeshow at two years old and learned the industry's buying and selling sides. Matt started working for his father after backpacking through Europe and volunteering in Africa. He was tasked to grow a new line of eyewear. Unfortunately, David passed away before he could see the brand's incredible 7 figure growth. Over the next decade, I updated our wholesale website, implemented a new ERP System and set up automation, grew our sales force to over 100 sales reps and five Showrooms across the USA, Opened up international distribution, and added new sales channels like Faire wholesale.
